Reasonableness [Philippians 4.4-5]

These verses may be tough read when this is released—that is, depending on how you candidate faired. This verse is part of Paul’s closing of his letter. He says twice to rejoice, and more specifically to rejoice in the Lord. This is universal—as a Christian, no matter where you are in life, rejoice in the Lord. Rejoice when you are up. Rejoice when you are down. You are saved! And, there is nothing that can get in-between that.

Once you can do that, then you can let your “reasonableness” be known. This is something we are called to do—be examples of Christian living, be the salt and light in the world that keeps it in balance. That reasonableness today is the golden rule. Go treat someone well.
