Why we do Community
We believe in the gospel of Jesus. The belief goes beyond merely agreeing with a set of facts, it includes living out the implications of the Gospel and the teachings of the Bible in everyday life. We believe that together we put into practice how the Word of God tells us to live in light of the good news of Jesus. God didn't intend for us to be transformed into the image of his Son by ourselves. WE are being transformed. We're doing this together. Attending a worship service is not the primary call of a believer of Jesus. Communities are the primary place we are encouraged to grow in our journey with Jesus.

Downtown Hope is able to reimburse up to $15/hour up to 2 hours. Parents are asked to use their discretion to determine the appropriate hourly rate based on number of children, etc. Families are welcome to supplement that rate if they feel compelled.
