Stand Firm in the Lord [Philippians 4.1]

This final chapter is perhaps the most well known chapter in Philippians. Paul starts out this chapter with a bold admonition to stand firm in the Lord. He has been building to this, giving the Philippians many reasons to press on—but with his previous chapter finished, he asks the Philippians (and us) to stand firm in the Lord and press on to glory.

Philippians 4.1

1 Therefore, my brothers, whom I love and long for, my joy and crown, stand firm thus in the Lord, my beloved.
