Keep on Seeking [Colossians 3.1-3]

Today’s passage calls on us to persistently seek and to keep on seeking.  This seeking is to be done through prayer, as we ask, seek, and knock.  This seeking ought to permeate into our conversations, our friendships, our studies, our work, our play.  May we never grow weary of our longing for Jesus.

Colossians 3.1-3

1 If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2 Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. 3 For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

[ WHAT ] is this passage saying and what is a key truth or thought that we learn?

+ If we have been risen with Christ, what should we seek?

+ Where should our minds be set?

+ Where should our minds not be set?

+ Where is our life in Christ, according to verse 3?

[ HOW ] is the Lord calling me to action/obedience?

+ Is there sin to confess or a next step to take? How has it gone since last time?

+ What practices can you implement to help set your mind properly each day?

[ WHO ] am I walking with and praying for to discover Jesus?

+ What is my next step?
