Christ Alone, Cornerstone [Ephesians 2.20]

Christ Alone, Cornerstone [Ephesians 2.20]

Continuing in our detour from Luke, today we are reminded that everything we have, all we are, and all we ever will be is built on Christ alone, the Cornerstone. My mind can’t help but sing along in my thoughts with Hillsong Worship, Christ alone, cornerstone, weak made strong in the Saviors love, through the storm, he is Lord, Lord of ALL.

Necessary Reflection [Isaiah 43.18-19]

Necessary Reflection [Isaiah 43.18-19]

Speaking to the Israelites in this passage, God encourages them to look forward and focus on His promises of being their Redeemer. And I’m sure He said these things because His people were tempted to give into the fears, unbelief, and past hardships, which were weighing over them throughout this journey towards their promised redemption. How fitting for us as we enter into a new year, especially with how trying 2020 was.

New Year - New Life [Galatians 2.20]

New Year - New Life [Galatians 2.20]

Today, we are continuing in our short detour from Luke, and going into the Book of Galatians. This powerful Book reminds us that we are justified by faith in Jesus Christ alone. Nothing more. Nothing less. As believers we can find true freedom in Christ rather than reverting to the bonds of legalism. Nothing we can do or be will justify ourselves!
