This is what we celebrate on Easter, our risen savior, Jesus Christ, the one who loved us enough to die in our place and did so willingly. This is the God we worship, our precious savior, kind, and Lord Jesus!
We can be at peace because of God’s great and unending love for us. Even when our circumstances are stormy, even when we don’t understand, we can rest in God and his perfect plans for us too. Just like Paul.
Anytime, any place, anywhere: Paul preached Christ and shared his testimony. Paul held nothing back regarding who he was before Christ transformed him. He wore his past as a badge of honor for Christ’s glory.
Conviction in the heart of a man or woman is an act of the Holy Spirit and understood to those who believe. So is having the courage to preach Christ at any time or anywhere.
Today, we read about some “amazing” work accomplished BY the Holy Spirit, THROUGH the ministry of Peter, among the Gentiles in Samaria. Could it be that the Gospel of Jesus is not just for His chosen people, but for truly for all of humanity?
