Rejoice in the Lord [Philippians 4.4-7]

As a therapist, I can’t count the number of persons I’ve seen who suffered with anxiety. Time and time again, I’ve found Philippians to be true. Joyfully focusing on what Christ has done with a heart of gratitude. Leaving every care at the foot of the cross. These are two keys to the peace that passes all understanding amidst any trial or any storm. My prayer is we focus on the joy of Christ’s birth during this advent season and leave our cares with him, the one who knows all things.

[Philippians 4.4-7]

4 Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. 5 Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; 6 do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
