Paul had friends to help him in a great time of need. There was a plot to kill him! There are many perescuted brothers and sisters in the world who are in need of help today. We may not be able to be there to physically help, but we can pray to the Lord is is our present help in time of need.

9.23 When many days had passed, the Jews plotted to kill him, 24 but their plot became known to Saul. They were watching the gates day and night in order to kill him, 25 but his disciples took him by night and let him down through an opening in the wall, lowering him in a basket.
