So, I am writing a Daily post on a section of Scripture that I will be preaching on in a few days, but this Daily will be read by you five days after I deliver this same sermon.
Because of Jesus’s death and resurrection, the veil in the temple was torn and it was no longer the sacred space where God could dwell among His people. All who proclaim Jesus as their savior and allow the Holy Spirit to transform them are now that space.
Our compassionate Savior, His heart breaking for the city He loves, and the people who live in it. Just like us, He grieved over circumstances He wished were different.
Our Jesus might have entered here on a colt, showing His peace, but soon, on the Day of the Lord, He will come again on a white horse, revealing to all His rule and reign as a king wearing many crowns--a blood-stained, conquering King…
This passage tells a familiar story, where we all find ourselves today, patiently waiting for the arrival of our Savior. The three servants exemplify the duty God bestows upon us as believers, to uphold and carry every single day.
