Everything Adam and Eve knew came about as a result of God’s word. He spoke...and it was. The sun, the moon, the stars, the plants, the animals around them. God’s word was responsible for it all. And now, that perfect word of God was attacked through a question posed by the serpent: Did God really say? We ought to spend moments throughout the day remembering what God has said. We will often be challenged, but it is in our abiding in Christ and His word that we find ourselves secure.
